Meet the cast.
Ryan Denley
Growing up as a child on a farm in rural West Tennessee, Ryan learned a lot. Like, how to hook up a Nintendo Entertainment System, how to draw ninja turtles, and (don’t read this part FBI) how to make copies of rented VHS tapes using two VCRs. As a child, Ryan was fed a steady diet of video games, movies, music and comic books. It wasn’t until Ryan got to grade school that he realized that some kids were only allowed to watch G rated movies, thus explaining why all of his Road Warrior jokes on the playground were met with confusion instead of the expected applause. Ryan received his first surround sound system in 1997 and has been watching movies and playing games through no less than 5 speakers ever since, unless under duress. In college, Ryan’s passion for music led him to be a part of two different “alt rock” bands, both producing music of questionable quality. Ryan soon began making short films with his college roommates and his career in video production was born. Ryan’s love for all things Science Fiction and Fantasy continued to grow throughout his life, leading him to DM upwards of three failed tabletop roleplaying campaigns. Ryan began listening to podcasts in 2009 during his commutes to and from work and has been hooked on the medium ever since.
Ryan enjoys eating an embarrassing amount of food at Birmingham area restaurants, playing games with his friends online, going on walks with his dog, waxing philosophical with his wife about Star Trek: The Next Generation and every now and then he still finds time to make music.
Ryan currently lives with his wife and spastic dog in Birmingham Alabama.
